Railbird Music Festival
Visit LEX and Keeneland teamed up with AC Entertainment to bring the first major music festival to Lexington. We were given the opportunity to build the brand and identity for the inaugural event. Pulling inspiration from central Kentucky’s most cherished traditions, like horses and bourbon, combined with the community's passion and creativity, Railbird was born. In its first year, Railbird attracted over 30,000 visitors from 48 states and 11 countries. City tax revenue increased by 7.5% based on hotel occupancy (compared to 0.4% the previous year), a major tourism boost for what is typically a slow month.
